We had an incredible stay at Boucan by Hotel Chocolat, which offered stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel special, and the dining experience was among the best I've had, featuring fresh, locally sourced dishes. However, the location is a bit secluded which can require additional travel to reach nearby beaches. Overall, the hotel provided excellent value for our money, and we can't wait to return.

My stay at Boucan was a mixed bag. The views are absolutely stunning, especially from the Luxe Lodge, which has a beautiful private balcony perfect for sunset drinks. However, the service was a letdown; dining was frustrating during our stay, and the lack of adequate cooling options in the room made things uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was memorable, but I can’t say it was worth the high price.

Rooms

The Luxe Lodge was nice but very hot, and the single ceiling fan did little to help. Despite having a great view, the lack of air conditioning made the room quite uncomfortable at times.

The infinity pool is beautifully designed and offers a stunning view. However, finding a spare sunbed could be difficult during peak hours.

I had a great experience at this hotel, with stunning views and a unique cacao-themed ambiance. The rooms were nice, but the lack of proper sealing from insects made sleep a bit challenging. While the staff was generally pleasant, service could be improved, especially during busy meal times. Overall, it’s a unique place worth a short visit, especially if you enjoy chocolate-inspired dining.

While I truly enjoyed the dining options and the outdoor shower in my room, the noise from nearby roads and the inconsistent Wi-Fi were notable drawbacks. Overall, it's a beautiful getaway with fantastic amenities, though a few improvements could enhance the experience even further.

However, the service could have been more welcoming, and the dining experience fell short in a couple of areas. The facilities, especially the infinity pool, were fantastic and enhanced my overall experience.
